From Snow to Bikes ~

With the gravity induced snowsliding season dwindling, we're transitioning into full-on bike mode!  The dirt is nice, the trails are fast, and it's perfect hiking/pedaling temperature... So get out there!!!

As for Super Awesome Beer, sometimes a beer just doesn't turnout how it's supposed to... When that happens the brewer needs to assess if it's a good problem, or a bad problem.  In the case of the forthcoming Sasquatchito IPA, the problem was not good.  Suspected poor yeast health produced a slight medicinal taste that was unacceptable.  We dumped 900 gallons *sad face*.  It would seem Sasquatchito's elusive nature persists, but we at JLB continue the quest to expose this most awesomest of beers to the frothing masses.

Though we've been running out of some of our specialty beers (i.e., Not So Hoppy Holiday, Silver Lake Saison, Archimedes Red, and soon to be 8140 Black IPA), we have some good beers on the horizon:

• Little Walker IPA - 6.8% single IPA dry hopped with 2lbs per barrel of Citra, Ella and Falconer's Flight - Tentative Release: Friday 4/24
• Killmister Ginger v4.0 - 8% ginger awesomeness this time with MORE GINGER - Release: Saturday 4/25
• Archimedes Red - Re-release into the wild ~ 5/1
• Silver Lake Saison - Re-release into the wild ~ 5/7

I know it's a broken record, but on the event front be sure to get your lodging setup for our Aniversario Numero Uno Sunday June 21st.  It's going to be amazing.
