Beer is HERE!

Most of us have been patiently awaiting this day (frothing at the mouth would be closer to the truth), and it has finally come!  We started down this long road over three years ago and to have it come to fruition is freaking amazing!  Huge thanks to everyone that's helped us along the way, and all those still to help us get the doors open this Saturday June 21st (tomorrow) the 2014 Summer Solstice.  Here's the skinny:

• Day - Saturday June 21st
• Timing - 11am to 7pm
• Musical wizardry - Full Revolution
• Culinary delights - Ohana's 395
• Beer on tap -
  • SmoKin Porter - 7.2% ABV, 51 IBU - smooth robust porter with a hint of smoke
  • Deer Beer Brown Ale - 5.6% ABV, 24 IBU - traditional English brown with a Westcoast twist
  • Junemontane HiPA - 7.1% ABV, 128+ IBU - super hoppy IPA dry hopped on Cascade, Amarillo and Citra
  • Alpers Trout Pale Ale - 6.1% ABV, 49 IBU - approachable pale with a creamy mouth feel
• Accommodations - if you haven't locked them down yet, get on it cuz most everything in the Village is booked up at this point
• Additional happenings - Strider bike demos, elephant rides and Armenian belly dancers

Basically get here and it will be the most amazing time of your life!

LET THERE BE BEER!!!

That's right we're brewing it up!  After receiving blessings from the building permit deities we fired up our 15bbl system and jumped right into some JLB SmoKin Porter Love.  That's right our first homebrew testbatch on our pilot system was also our first production batch on the JLB production system, and it's fermenting along nicely!

So it's been busy and haven't been sleeping much, so here's the highlights -

• Production area permitted to operate prior to tasting room signoff
• Eight 15bbl batches fermenting
  • 30bbls SmoKin Porter
  • 30bbls Deer Beer Brown Ale
  • 30bbls Junemontane HiPA Collaboration Ale
  • 30bbls Alpers Trout Pale Ale
• 15 days to finish tasting room (paint/texture/epoxy penny floor/bar/signage/parking/draft system/etc...)
• Package 120bbls of JLB
• Get final building permit signoff and certificate of occupancy
• HUGE GRAND OPENING PARTY JUNE 21st!
