June Lake Brewing
Godzzirra El Nino! That's right, Mammoth Mountain is open and ripping, and June reportedly has over three feet of snow up top! Tragically due to their Forestry Permit June will have to wait for their scheduled opening December 12th, but fear not JLB will be releasing a MONSTER BEER for the occasion. Some of you may have tried our Carson Peak American Strong Ale over the past couple months (at 13% you may not remember). For the opening of June Mountain we will be releasing our wine barrel aged version of this crazy fermulation. We squirreled away ~100 gallons of the Carson Peak in French Oak Pinot Noir barrels and it's been mutating into a true monster for the past four months. So come out for opening day and send it proper! Also on the beer front we have some exciting releases, so without further adu here is your personal scheduling tool for the remainder of 2015:
On the events front, thanks to everyone that came out for the 3rd Annual June Lake Autumn Beer Festival that transpired Saturday October 10th. It was super crazy fun and as far as we know nobody (aside from a few livers) was seriously injured. Mark your calendar because next year's June Lake Autumn Beer Festival will be held Saturday October 1st, making it a true October Fest. Stay tuned as tickets go on sale January 1st 2016. This event will sellout early! Thanks and Cheers! Sarah/Justin
