June Lake Brewing
Merry Fishmas ~ With Fishing Opener this Saturday April 25th we'll be releasing the obnoxiously dry hopped Lil' Walker IPA (single IPA at 6.4%) and the fourth rendition of our Killmister Ginger Beer. So come by, say Hi and try some new brews with world (by 'world' we of course mean Mono County) famous super awesome food from Ohanas 395! That's right for the remainder of the spring and summer Rena and the Girls at Ohanas will be open six days a week (mirroring our hours of 11am - 8pm as their food stocks permit)! In MEGA important bike news there's currently a petition addressed to the White House championing legislation to allow mountain bikes in Wilderness Study Areas and Recommended Wilderness Areas. Please take a minute to read and if you at all care about our ability to recreate in a low impact way on our public lands please sign and spread the word - https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/allow-mountain-bikes-wilderness-study-areas-and-recommended-wilderness-areas In other bike related news JLB is working closely with Mammoth Mountain Bike Park (MMBP) to completely revamp the 2015 Village Championship Downhill Race Series (VCDH). In the past this free local race series consisted of six Friday afternoon races that were completely open to anybody willing to register and huck carcass. JLB and MMBP plan to keep this same free entry, grassroots setup, but double the number of races to twelve for the overall championship, bring on super awesome sponsors to donate amazing prizes, and announce the course at least 24hrs prior to race day on both MMBP and JLB's social networks (so ya'll can make a point to getting here for your favorite races). Stay tuned for more info, and in parting we'll leave you with our Director of Visual Awesomness's second foray into MTB visual wondery with Rambo's Rattlesnake Revenge! Cheers! Sarah/Justin
