Hurray for our Fire Fighters ~

As some of you may have heard a MAJOR fire started at June Mountain on Tuesday September 16th and almost burned down the brewery and the entire town.  Thanks to the efforts of all our local fire departments, our wildland fire response teams and CalFire, the towering inferno was contained and is no longer a threat to our community and most importantly our super awesome beer.  So raise a pint and sing out your praise for all those who helped avert what could have very easily been the end of our community as we know it.

If you're around the Mammoth area this weekend be sure to check out the Kamikaze Bike games starting today, Friday September 19th.  Sarah will be racing in the women's Cat2 Kamikaze downhill race this afternoon so come out and cheer her on.  The finish will be at Canyon Lodge and JLB is sure to be in attendance (bring your own cup).  Also we'll be posted up at the upper Bullet rock garden for tomorrow's Cat1 and GST pro downhill races so don't miss this most awesome of events.
