Breakfast Brown IPA
Blurring the lines between IPAs and malt focused beers we combined 2-Row Pale, Cara-Pils, Black Patent and Coffee Kilned malts with an abundance of CTZ, Cascade and Idaho Experimental hops to realize this well balanced 7% ABV, 62 IBU one off creation. Though we’re hop focused, our BrewMatron wanted to challenge our Maker of Beer & Doer of Things to create an IPA that had a crazy coffee malt component. What came out of the fermetor was a delicate, slightly bitter (think baker’s chocolate), malt focused IPA. Dry, clean, slight coffee, stone fruit.
